During this program you will have the opportunity to visit two of the most beautiful mountains in Bulgaria – Rila and Pirin. Rila is the country’s highest mountain. There you will be amazed by more than 200 alpine circus lakes. You will climb the highest peak in the Balkan region – mount Mussala (2925 m. above the sea level). Rila Mountain is a majestic giant that always has a lot to offer. That is a mountain of uncountable memories and sensations.
The beauty of Pirin Mountain owes to long lasting and durable glacial activity, which has created curious mountain crest shapes, sharp peak profiles, vast glacial valleys and deep circuses with sparkling crystal lakes. Pirin National Park is included in UNESCO’s World Register of Natural Heritage.
