Semkovo is a mountain resort at 17 km from town of Belitsa. Located at the foothill of Rila Mountain among a forest of pine trees the resort offers excellent conditions for winter sports and summer mountain tourism.
A wonderful tourist attraction is the slides covered with gaily-colored rugs available for the guests of Belitsa. They are used for transportation to different landmarks in the Semkovo resort.

The winter season lasts over 5 months – from December to May, with a snow cover thicker than 1.5m.

The average annual temperatures vary from 7,5° N to 9,5°N, January being the coldest month with an average of -5,9° C.

Semkovo offers six ski runs with a total length of 4.5 km, including three ski runs on the Northern slopes, with all ranges of difficulty. The ski runs are serviced by eight draglifts.

The Semkovo 1 is 500 i long, serviced by a drag lift with a capacity of 150 persons/h.

The Orlite ( Eagles) is 900 i long serviced by 2 drag lifts with a capacity of 450 and 700 persons/h respectively.
